REPO Game Discord: Official Server & Community Links

R.E.P.O. has one official Discord, several official Semiwork accounts, and a long tail of fan servers that look official but are not. Here is which is which, what each one is actually for, and where a bug report goes if you want a developer to see it.

Quick Answer

The official R.E.P.O. Discord is discord.gg/repo — the same invite Semiwork links from the game's Steam store page. It was created on 20 January 2025, holds roughly 332,000 members, is English-only, and is free to join. Semiwork posts updates and reads feedback there directly, and its Customer Support area is the best place to report a technical problem. Steam's News Hub carries the full written patch notes. Reddit communities for R.E.P.O. are fan-run, not official.

The Official REPO Game Discord Server at a Glance

Everything below comes from the server's own listing and from the links Semiwork publishes on Steam. Member figures move daily, so treat them as a scale check rather than a precise number.

Official invite
discord.gg/repo — the same link Semiwork publishes on the R.E.P.O. Steam store page
Server size
Around 332,000 members, with roughly 95,000 showing online at any given time
Created
20 January 2025 — about five weeks before R.E.P.O. launched into early access
Server language
English only. Fan-run servers for other languages are linked from inside the server.
Developer presence
Yes — Semiwork posts updates there and reads community feedback directly
Cost
Free. Nobody needs Nitro, a key, or a purchase receipt to join.

The detail worth internalising is the verification path. Anyone can make a Discord server called "R.E.P.O. Official" and buy a member count. What nobody else can do is get a link onto Semiwork’s Steam store page. That page is the ground truth: whatever invite appears there is the real server, and every other claim should be checked against it.

The server predates the game. It opened on 20 January 2025 and R.E.P.O. launched into early access on 26 February 2025, which is why a chunk of its longest-standing members joined before they had played anything.

What Is Actually Inside the REPO Discord

The server is organised into a handful of categories. Knowing which one you want saves you scrolling past six figures' worth of general chat.

Customer Support
Where technical problems go: crashes, missing saves, mod conflicts, connection drops. The fastest place to find out whether a bug is yours or everyone's.
Game Developer channels
Semiwork posts here first. Patch notes, devlog links and teasers usually land before the wider gaming press picks them up.
Community feedback
Structured suggestion and feedback space. Semiwork has repeatedly reshaped balancing around what players complain about here.
LFG
Looking-for-group channels for filling the six-player cap when your usual squad is offline.
General chatting & gaming
Everyday conversation, clip sharing and fan art. The server describes its own pace as "like a busy coffee shop".
Beta update notifications
An opt-in role that pings you when a beta build goes out, so you hear about changes before they reach the default branch.

Where to Report a REPO Bug (and Where Not To)

R.E.P.O. is still in early access and patches land fast — five numbered releases went out inside three weeks around the cosmetic update. A well-formed report has a real chance of being fixed in the next one. Five steps:

1

Check whether it is already known

Search the Discord support area and the Steam discussion board before writing anything. Popular bugs generate dozens of duplicate reports within hours of a patch, and duplicates slow the devs down rather than speeding them up.

2

Disable your mods and test again

A large share of reported R.E.P.O. crashes are mod conflicts, not game bugs. Launch vanilla, reproduce the issue, and only report it if it still happens. See the mods and commands guide for how to toggle mods off cleanly.

3

Note your version number and whether you hosted

R.E.P.O. ships small patches quickly, so "v0.4.4, I was the host, four players" is a far more useful report than "the game broke". Host-side and client-side bugs behave differently and get triaged differently.

4

Post it in the Discord support area

The Discord's Customer Support category is the channel Semiwork actually monitors. Steam threads get read too, but the Discord is where technical support is explicitly advertised as one of the reasons to join.

5

Do not rely on fan wikis or subreddits reaching the devs

Fan-run communities are useful for workarounds but they are not a support queue. Nothing posted there is guaranteed to be seen by anyone at Semiwork.

Every Official REPO & Semiwork Channel

These are the accounts Semiwork lists on the R.E.P.O. Steam store page and on its own studio site. Anything not on this list is fan-run, however official it looks.

Is There an Official REPO Game Subreddit?

Short version: no. Semiwork lists a Discord, a YouTube channel, a Twitch channel, TikTok and Instagram as its official presences, plus the Steam store and news pages. Reddit is not among them, and the studio site at semiwork.se does not link one either.

That does not mean Reddit is useless. Fan communities are where you find odd physics clips, upgrade arguments and workarounds for problems that never made it into a patch note. It just means they are the wrong door to knock on for support, and that moderation, accuracy and continuity there are entirely up to volunteers.

The same caveat applies to fan wikis and the community guides on Steam: excellent for tactics, not a channel to the developers, and sometimes several patches out of date.

Where REPO Update News Lands First

Semiwork runs a fairly consistent announcement pattern. A devlog video goes up on YouTube and gets posted to the Discord, a short Steam announcement summarises it, and then the numbered patch follows with a full written changelog on the Steam News Hub. The 2026 cosmetic update ran exactly that way: a teaser, a release-date reveal, the v0.4.0 drop, then four fix-and-balance patches inside three weeks.

Semiwork has also said devlogs will get less frequent while the team works on a new level and pushes toward the 1.0 full release. If your only source is YouTube, quiet stretches can look like the game has been abandoned when it has not. The Discord and the Steam News Hub keep ticking either way.

If you want the earliest signal available, opt into the beta update notification role in the Discord — it fires when a beta build ships, ahead of the public branch.

REPO Game Discord FAQ

What is the official REPO game Discord link?

The official invite is discord.gg/repo. You can verify it yourself rather than trusting any guide: open the R.E.P.O. Steam store page and look at the links Semiwork lists in the right-hand column. The Discord invite published there resolves to the same server as discord.gg/repo, titled "R.E.P.O." with the description "The official server for R.E.P.O. by Semiwork". If a link you were sent does not match that, treat it as a fan server or a scam.

Is the REPO Discord server free to join?

Yes. It is a normal public Discord server — free, no Nitro requirement, and no proof of purchase. You do not need to own R.E.P.O. to join and read. Any site or message asking you to pay, hand over Steam credentials, or "verify" your account through an external form to get in is not the official server. The real invite never asks for anything beyond a Discord account.

Do the Semiwork developers actually read the Discord?

Yes, and the server advertises exactly that: receiving updates directly from the developers and participating in community feedback are two of the listed reasons to join. Semiwork's patch notes show the loop working — v0.4.x updates repeatedly adjusted things players complained about, such as instant deaths after a revive and the accidental activation of the vehicle grab button.

Is there an official REPO game subreddit?

Semiwork does not list a subreddit among its official channels on the Steam store page or on semiwork.se. Reddit communities for R.E.P.O. do exist, but they are fan-run: helpful for clips, builds and workarounds, and not a place where a bug report reaches the developers. If you want something to land with Semiwork, use the Discord or the Steam discussions instead.

Can I use the REPO Discord if I do not speak English?

The official server is English-only by rule, but it has members from all over the world and it links out to fan-run, language-specific servers from inside. That is the intended route: join the official server for news and support, then follow its links to a community in your own language for everyday chat. Announcements are only posted in English.

Where do REPO updates get announced first?

In practice, the Discord and the Semiwork YouTube devlogs move first, and the Steam News Hub carries the full written patch notes. Big reveals like the kart racing mode, the cosmetic update and the upcoming new level were shown in devlog videos, then summarised as Steam announcements. If you want the earliest possible warning, opt into the beta update notification role in the Discord.

How do I spot a fake REPO Discord server?

Check the member count and the source of the link. The official server sits in the low hundreds of thousands of members and is linked from the Steam store page. Fake servers typically have small member counts, ask you to log in through a lookalike Steam page, offer free cosmetics or keys, or DM you an invite unprompted. Never enter Steam credentials on any page a Discord message sends you to.

Are the other REPO Discord servers safe?

Plenty of legitimate fan servers exist, including regional ones the official server links to. They are fine for finding teammates and chatting. Just keep two things straight: they are not moderated by Semiwork, and nothing posted in them counts as a support ticket. Treat unsolicited invites, giveaways and "mod pack" downloads shared in them with the same caution you would anywhere else.
